Services
Start with what your business actually needs.
You don't need to diagnose the problem before we talk.
You might think you need more marketing, a new system, another sales channel or a different strategy.
Sometimes you do.
Sometimes the real issue sits somewhere else entirely.
The Growth Edit brings an independent commercial perspective across the business, helping you understand what's happening, what is getting in the way and what deserves attention first.
Ways to work together
Different starting points. One objective: meaningful progress.
Whether you need clarity on what to do next, experienced leadership to maintain momentum or someone to lead a defined transformation, there are three ways to work with The Growth Edit.
The Growth Edit
When you know something needs to change, but you're not sure where to start.
The Growth Edit is a focused commercial review designed for businesses with ambition, ideas and activity, but not enough clarity about what should happen next.
I step outside the day-to-day and look across the business rather than examining one function in isolation.
The objective isn't to create more work.
It's to understand what's really happening, challenge assumptions and establish the few things that will make the greatest commercial difference.
This could be right for you if…
You have plenty of ideas but no clear view of which deserve investment.
There's lots of activity, without enough progress or profit to show for it.
Teams, channels or initiatives are operating in silos.
Growth has exposed weaknesses in some of the foundations.
You're too close to the day-to-day and want an experienced, independent perspective.
Looking at the whole picture.
Every business is different. Depending on what I find, The Growth Edit can look across:
Commercial performance
Customers & proposition
Marketing & acquisition
Sales
Customer journey & experience
Operations & process
Projects & priorities
Data & decision-making
I don't work through a fixed audit checklist. I follow the evidence and focus on the areas most relevant to what's happening in your business.
The process
Focused. Practical. No 70-page strategy deck.
01
Prepare
A short pre-work questionnaire and request for the most useful existing information, data and plans.
02
Discover
A focused working session with the founder and/or relevant leadership team, supported where useful by conversations with key people in the business.
03
Edit
I review the evidence, connect the dots and identify what should be stopped, fixed, focused on and grown.
04
Act
A 90-minute playback session and clear, prioritised 90-day roadmap showing what should happen next.
The emphasis is on clarity and action, not producing documentation for documentation's sake.
Your 90-day Growth Edit
Stop. Fix. Focus. Grow.
Stop
What isn't earning its place?
Activity, spend, projects or distractions consuming attention without enough commercial value.
Fix
What needs attention first?
Foundations, gaps or blockers preventing the business from performing as effectively as it could.
Focus
What matters most now?
The small number of commercially meaningful priorities that deserve immediate attention.
Grow
What's genuinely worth pursuing next?
The opportunities that merit investment once the right foundations and priorities are in place.
You leave with a clear view of what matters and a prioritised 90-day roadmap for action.
The Growth Edit is designed to be an accessible way to bring senior commercial experience and an independent perspective into your business without committing to an ongoing consultancy engagement.
Most focused Growth Edit engagements start at £1,500, with final scope agreed according to the size and complexity of the business.
The roadmap is yours.
The Growth Edit is a standalone engagement.
You can take the roadmap and implement it with your own team.
If you need support afterwards, I can lead a specific Growth or Transformation Project or work alongside your leadership team as a Fractional Growth Director.
There is no requirement to continue working together.
Fractional Growth Director
Senior commercial leadership when you need it, without creating another permanent executive role.
Talk about fractional leadershipI work alongside founders and leadership teams to turn commercial priorities into action, connect teams and initiatives, challenge thinking and maintain momentum.
This can be particularly valuable when the business is scaling, transforming or navigating a period of significant change but doesn't need, or isn't ready for, another permanent senior hire.
Depending on the business, this can include commercial strategy and planning, customer acquisition, go-to-market, revenue and profitability, leadership alignment, operating model improvement and transformation delivery.
Engagements are structured around the needs of the business and typically involve a regular commitment each month.
Growth & Transformation Projects
When you know what needs to change and need experienced leadership to make it happen.
Discuss a projectSometimes the challenge is already clear.
You may be launching a new growth initiative, improving customer acquisition, implementing a new system, redesigning how the business operates or delivering a broader commercial transformation.
I can step in to shape and lead a defined programme from strategy through to execution, working across teams and external partners to keep the work commercially focused and moving forward.
This can include growth and acquisition programmes, customer journey improvement, operating model and process redesign, ERP and business systems, AI and digital adoption, or broader commercial transformation.
Projects are individually scoped according to objectives, complexity and required involvement.
Working together
Good work needs openness on both sides.
The Growth Edit works best with businesses that are ambitious, open to an independent perspective and prepared to act on what we discover.
I won't arrive with a predetermined answer. I'll ask questions, understand the context, follow the evidence and challenge assumptions where it helps us make better commercial decisions.
The best results come when I have enough access to understand the whole picture and the freedom to say when something may not be the priority right now.
The goal isn't agreement for agreement's sake. It's better decisions and meaningful progress.
Not sure which starting point is right?
That's completely fine.
Tell me what's happening in the business and what you're trying to achieve. We can work out together whether The Growth Edit, fractional leadership or a defined project is the right place to start.
